Tonight, they will be reviewing the 90 day pilots, approved in September, for a 15-minute parking space at 514 Medford Street in Magoun Square, submitted through the Board of Aldermen on August 22nd, 2013 as legislative number 195337.
A No Parking request for two spots alongside Trum Field allowing residents to enter and exit driveways (submitted through the Board of Aldermen on July 11th as legislative numbers 195240, 195308) and piloted in September will also be reviewed. Residents of Cedar Street were surveyed to gain feedback of the change to parking. The area is open for four hours to accommodate users of Trum Field during the Spring-Fall seasons.
The Commission will also be considering new Drop Off/Pick Up points on Morrison Avenue and Cross Street for area schools. Two handicapped parking requests and parking restrictions surrounding the McCarthy Overpass construction project round out the agenda for the first 2014 meeting of the Traffic Commission.
