Greenline Field Work Updates...

This work will be an eight-week process, and we're including a more detailed schedule of activities for the next two weeks below. Please do not be concerned if you see people performing the work described here; they are authorized to be in and around the MBTA right-of-way.

Boring Program:

* Week ending 3/5/10 - Medford Street and Walnut Street, Somerville
* Week ending 3/12/10 - Walnut Street and Cedar Street, Somerville

These borings will be taken on the streets near the existing bridges over the MBTA Lowell Commuter Line. Drilling typically occurs between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM on weekdays.

Field Survey:

Week ending 3/05/10:

* Intersection of Washington Street and McGrath Highway in Somerville
* College Avenue Bridge in Medford
* Cedar Street Bridge in Somerville

Please note that field work is scheduled for the proposed Lowell Street stop in late March.
